Breeding Programme Update!

EV has launched 2 new everbearer varieties available to BerryWorld growers in the UK, to VB BV growers in Holland and Belgium and open to growers in other countries. Our Mediterranean programme has also selected a new variety which will be trialled in southern Spain during the spring of 2009. Watch this space for more updates.

Exclusive EVP Trays

EVP has developed new trays for strawberry propagation over the last 10 years, we have now developed 2 new exclusive trays - 54 cell Deepeat tray and EVP 18 cell tray.  Specific, high quality plant types tailored to growers requirements are a priority and fruit yield potential is increased with these new trays.  Please call Anna Spyrou on 01795 537500 for further information.

EV Fruit Farms will pick 40% of strawberries (900 tonnes) from table top systems in 2009.  All farm sites now have plantations with table tops giving benefits to pickers and fruit quality.
